Helping Families

The Angels and I have decided that the first of the Angels Projects should be directed to low income working families. Most often these families are overwhelmed daily in order to make a simple home for themselves and their kids. The following is the reason we decided this.

A part of my life was spent working for a non-profit Inner City Mission with homeless people. In Canada there are many organizations in the cities that help homeless people, single people and to some extent help families. There is some help for people in rural Canada and in the small towns and villages. Very often in the smaller areas, assistance is very frugal and stingy. It becomes more so every year.

The economy and governments are targeted functionally at tax breaks for the wealthy, with more and more ordinary people struggling to just put food on the table. Very often, in these areas, there are many families who are proud, hardworking people. Rarely does anyone mention them in their campaigns to "right the wrongs". More and more decent paying jobs are gone and the types of work being created are "service sector" jobs. That type of work pays way below the poverty line. So these families have to make a home and raise children in serious poverty, in what appears to be a wealthy country. It is often a no-win situation. I am certain the same situation is true in many countries. If you look around your town, you will begin to notice them, as we of the Angels Projects have.

Most often these families are proud, hardworking and struggling very hard. They raise their children with respect and dignity. They are contributing members of society, the tax base, and by the way, they are voters. So why are they left behind to struggle so much? Political agenda? Who knows. But I know this. We all can choose to help each other. When all else fails - individual Human Beings can help each other!!

This is an important message from the Angels of Abundance, through this site and the Angels Projects. So often in our society, we are identified as the "group" someone labelled us with. In fact, we are individuals, and we can each do a little something.

I know there is lots of information and knowledge on the net about manifesting and how it's within ourselves to change this. What I see, is that for families in that position, they are eye-deep in wading through daily basic needs supply. As a result, a lot of these people do not have the time or perhaps money to access this information.

So this is why we, the Guardian Angels and I, have decided to make Families the focus of our first Angels Projects. To start us off, we know one such a family in our town that is desperately struggling to repair their house before the winter strikes. So we decided to make them the target of Goodwill from the world. I will introduce them in the First Family page.

I learned this one rule about life a long time ago - Instead of trying to change the world, just make some change in your own corner and the rest of the world will change anyway. It's the ripple effect. We each can only do so much. Together, we can so a lot!

How we think this Angels Projects should work is this. We start with one project to initiate change. In choosing this we are beginning the manifestation process. We can keep the information about the progress updated on the Angels Blog. We also are asking readers to look around their own town for at least one similar situation. A decent hardworking family that is struggling. On the Angels Blog you can send me information about a family you would like to see get a little help. Together we can figure out ways to put the help forward to the family. There are many ways to help. Through the Guardian Angels websites we can also create other kinds of help.

Two things we (the Guardian Angels and I) can do financially to help. 1) The Angels and I can donate a percentage of our earnings from the Angels Store to the Angels Projects. 2) We can establish a non-profit neutral to accept donations for the families in this project. We can all work at changing one small corner of the world at a time and create the Ripple Effect which is one way the Universe works. To check out some of the suggestions for helping the families a list is being formulated on the Ways to Help page. This list will be updated as you also contribute ideas through the Angel Blog.

The manifestation process is made up of various steps. To create something from nothing or to bring Formless Into Form requires specific steps. A part of the manifestation process is giving. That means reaching out and Helping others. A part of the process is Thankfulness. We (the Angels and I) are grateful that we have found a way to help other people. As we go through these steps try to keep these important aspects in mind.
