.... the Subtle Face.... Look carefully and you will see a very Subtle Face in the energy streams. Here the challenge and mystery of this site. Who do You think? feel? sense? the face is or represents. (in the background above the Dawning's shoulder) 
This is The Dawning, which you can see on The Dawning Page. Painting the Dawning, for me, was mostly about blending. In this one, I kept seeing patch size areas instead of little marks to paint. Frankly, it felt like a nice calm, soft painting. Then one morning on my way to the kitchen...... as I walked past the painting I glanced sideways it. This instant, I saw the Subtle Face. There was such a powerful impact coming from the little face that I stopped in my tracks. The power I felt coming from the face and eyes felt like I was being pinned to the spot. I did not paint it in there on purpose. I have no explanation, only a minor guess. I'll be clear here. I was afraid to approach this painting to finish it. I asked my SunSon and my BeautyGirl if they could see the face. They did. None of us know who this Face in the painting is to this day. I'll be honest about something else here. I was unsure why this face had appeared, and it was making me nervous, so I tried to paint over it. I usually (had gotten used to) the fact that these paintings kind of developed on their own and I was just the useful tool that held the brush so to speak. I never try to control the process. I had tried after the first two angels, to 'make a picture' that I wanted. What a mess!! I could hear the laughter. (It was kindly but really!!) I just step back (the ego part of me) and let them do their work. But this Subtle Face was so powerful that I really did try to paint it out of the picture. Four times I went over the area bringing the brush strokes through the subtle face. Adding light colors and dark colors to disappear it. It did not work. Not at all. I finally quit trying and started accepting that the subtle face belonged in this painting for some reason. Maybe you can answer the who and why of this for me. I have come to know that the two powers I sense are 1) absolute Unconditional Love and compassion plus 2) absolute intelligence. If you haven't learned to meditate, I will be grateful if you'd learn and maybe, just maybe out there, one of you will know who this is and tell me.
