The
Dawning
(of
Consciousness)
The Dawning was 'born' and grounded to
canvas in
1997. This is the first painting that began with a curved line instead
of an oval. I was very curious to see how that
could
develop into anything. This Being, even I am still unable to be sure of
whether this one is male or female, as I sense both energies, is a
Guardian and Guide.
Some of the Native significances
that showed up are the symbol of the bear (imparting wisdom to a
person, no doubt) in the background, the 'turtle' necklace
(symbol of Mother Earth and Turtle Island (North America),
and
the eagle on shoulder (connection to Great Spirit - God).
The Dawning of
Consciousness brings you
into
the light of the angels and the beginning of
opening
your
awareness.
Other symbols in the painting are more subtle. For
example, the small
subtle
face above the eagle in
the background. The sunrise, (dawning) in the
East, is
behind this one. Ergo, the Awakening energy. I find it very interesting
that the Earth's behavior itself can be signs for us to follow to our
own awakening. Moving from the state of being 'unaware' of our
behavior or Self to being consciously aware of our way of
being is much like watching a sunrise.
During a channelling moment, the
information came through that the
real purpose of our (generalized) 'being here on earth' is to not
necessarily return
to Spirit, but to bring Spirit here into fully functioning form. These
mighty words, what do they mean? It means to bring the God-Force
(Universal Life) energies fully grounded and functioning here, on the
planet, daily interacting through each of us, through our bodies and
minds in
a consist state of awareness.
The basis of awakening is to bring that which has been
unconscious into the conscious. Another way of saying 'bringing the
light' or the dawn into our awareness. Whether we understand it or not,
all of our
seeking is
ultimately 'the seeking for the True Self'. We may be looking at
someone
else's behavior and judging or loving them. But really we are
looking at a reflection of our 'self' through 'unaware' eyes. The
mirror concept is difficult to keep in mind during the course of a day.
How I learned to cue myself, is by noticing if my thoughts were
judgmental about someone or myself. If they were, then I ask the
questions quick, to break free of the old patterns and evolve.
The questions - what are they? They are questions
you
design to bring yourself into awareness. I used to think that it was
answers I was seeking. Now it's clear that it is really the correct
question that needs to be asked in order to achieve progress.
In this case, it is
questions like - How is that person similar to me?, How is that making
me so angry?, Do I have this characteristic or do I resist this
behavior? What fear is it triggering?. Using
questions this way, especially how instead of
why,
puts you in the frame of mind that you are - paying
attention and witnessing your own life. Attention = focus.
Another reason I am mentioning
questions, is that frequently, if you form your question when preparing
to meditate, then the answer comes within or shortly after the
mediation. With the angels it is a good idea to have a question ready
that you sincerely want an answer to. So, what are your
questions for Dawning?
Since Awareness is the
key energy of the Dawning, it may be a good idea to ask the simple
stuff at first like - "How can I progress from here?" Becoming
aware of your own internal and external
processes is the path to enlightenment. Once you have your attention on
the question, awareness will come in the meditation.
Meditation is a very important
key to our health. This is now scientifically proven by our Western
Medicals. The Ancients in many cultures have always known, but it took
science here to see and show the actual effects. You can find this
scientific information on the link site below.
The Dawning also makes me think of the emanation
of brainwaves.
In my own healing I discovered some of the new technology is very
helpful. There are a number of places on the Internet to now understand
the science of how our brainwaves work and what that forms in our daily
activities. This is part of the science.
It can be difficult to learn. It doesn't have to
take 20 years or a lifetime like it did for the monks of old. There are
many
approaches to
learn it more easily. One method that gets you going is
guided meditation. The easiest and most immediate results I
found were by meditating with the Silva Method. This is a focusing
style of meditation with a guide verbally taking you through the
steps.
There are so many options available on the net that it is hard to know
who to trust. I tried the Silva and had results within 2 hours
of the first meditation. Everyone's reaction will be
different.
The important thing is to get
started on your journey. God Bless and may the Angels of Abundance
and particularily the Dawning of Consciousness, travel with
you.
